Trane is excited to offer an opportunity for a skilled and committed **Service Technician – Chillers & HVAC** to join our team. In this important field-based role, you will:
1. **Work with Industry‑Leading HVAC & Chiller Systems** • Commission and service chillers and HVAC systems across customer sites.
2. **Develop Deep Technical Expertise** • Strengthen hands-on skills in chiller installation, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, warranty work, and AMC services.
3. **Deliver Outstanding Customer Support** • Conduct customer follow-ups, attend scheduled meetings, and ensure timely and high‑quality service delivery.
4. **Support Team Performance & Field Coordination** • Coordinate with the Service Coordinator for manpower planning and parts requirements, participate in team meetings, and support operational activities.
5. **Champion Safety and Quality** • Follow Trane’s EHS guidelines, maintain documentation accuracy, and ensure quality execution of all service tasks.

Where is the work: Hyderabad
What will you do:
As a Service Technician, you will play a key role in commissioning, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining chiller and HVAC systems. Responsibilities include:
• Commissioning of chillers and HVAC systems.
• Repairing all types of HVAC equipment.
• Performing customer follow-ups and attending scheduled meetings.
• Managing team coordination with the Service Coordinator for movement planning and parts needs.
• Leading weekly team meetings on safety, site audits, and backlog concerns.
• Providing monthly updates to the Service Manager and Coordinator.
• Handling all models of chillers and low-side equipment complaints as per guidelines.
• Conducting timely PPM work according to company SOP.
• Performing RCA for failures and sharing findings with the Quality team and FFL.
• Ensuring adherence to Trane EHS guidelines.
• Managing all customer service requirements professionally.
• Generating service leads during customer visits.
• Ensuring smooth, timely, and quality completion of service tasks.
• Submitting daily reports to the office and ASM.
• Sharing service reports with the deployer, including parts requirements.
• Holding a valid 4-wheeler/2-wheeler driving license.
• Ensuring full compliance with safety and vehicle audit requirements.
• Applying hands-on experience in chiller installation, warranty, and AMC services.
• Using MS Office, email, and internet tools for effective communication and reporting.

• Strong technical knowledge of chillers and HVAC systems.
• Practical experience in commissioning, servicing, and troubleshooting chillers.
• Ability to work independently with good problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work with MS Office, email, and basic internet tools.
• Strong commitment to safety standards and operational discipline.
Qualifications:
• Graduation, Diploma, or ITI in Mechanical, R&AC, Electrical, or Electronics.
• Minimum 5+ years of on‑site experience working with chillers.
• Strong technical knowledge of chiller systems and HVAC equipment.
