What this position involves - The Senior Security Manager, West Coast will work with the Director of Security and Senior Security Manager, East Coast in the management and operation of our client sites as directed by the client and in accordance with the standards and procedures of JLL. Our goal is to provide our clients with the highest level of client service available through an integrated approach to addressing Security.

What is the day to day?

Manage the outsourced guard service and security systems maintenance providers for the client account.Manage physical and procedural security within the client sites through the outsourced guard service provider.Identify and bring to the account technical best practices and developments within the security industry that may benefit JLL and the client.Manage security incidents and produce timely incident reports and mitigation plans.Performs audits and inspections of the physical security of company owned or leased facilities and makes appropriate recommendations to improve the protection of assets.Conduct investigations in security breaches and failures, relative to internal JLL issues.Provide technical input into security projects and manage security small works projects.Provide security advice and support to site facilities managers.Participate in and provide security induction training as required.Assist with executive protection, emergency/crisis management planning, code of conduct inquires, internal investigations, workplace violence issues and employee performance issues. Ensure supplier compliance with JLL SLAs and supplier contracts.Manage and support audits conducted by JLL or client.Liaison with law enforcement, statutory and industry bodies as well as peer groups within JLL, client and externally.Stays current in regards to industrial security practices, trends and technologies and maintains the site security program to the level of expectation desired by the corporation and site leadership.Monitors and improves EHS recordkeeping systems to ensure record-keeping compliance and facilitate analysis of data.Manages performance of consultants and contractors performing work on EHS related projects.Any/all other duties and tasks assigned

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or related field6+ years of progressive security management, public safety or corporate security/EHS management experienceDemonstrated experience managing security teams and vendor relationshipsStrong knowledge of security technologies, emergency response protocols, and risk assessment methodologiesExcellent communication and leadership skills with ability to interact effectively with all organizational levelsProven track record in crisis management and incident responseClient service-oriented attitude

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with integrated security management systems and IoT security solutionsBackground in law enforcement, military, or government security rolesExperience working in multi-site environmentsProfessional security certification (CPP, PSP, or equivalent)

Estimated total compensation for this position:

100,000.00 – 125,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
