CGI is seeking a Senior Security Awareness & Training Specialist to design, deliver, and continuously improve cybersecurity awareness and training initiatives for its clients. Reporting to the Information Security / GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) team, you will play a key role in enhancing security culture, developing engaging educational materials, and coordinating global awareness activities.
Key Responsibilities
-Develop and deploy cybersecurity awareness programs aligned with industry standards and compliance frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOx, NIS2).
-Design and adapt interactive training modules for different employee profiles (office staff, operators, developers, executives, etc.).
-Collaborate with internal teams (IT, HR, Communications) and external vendors to deliver relevant, engaging content.
-Oversee training deployment, tracking, and reporting via Learning Management Systems (LMS).
-Plan and execute awareness campaigns such as Cybersecurity Month, phishing simulations, newsletters, and internal communications.
-Monitor performance metrics (participation, engagement, phishing test results) and prepare reports for management.
-Translate complex technical concepts into clear, behavior-driven messages.
-Stay current on industry best practices (SANS, Gartner, NIST) and suggest continuous improvements.
Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in Communications, Cybersecurity, Education, or related field.
-5–7 years of experience in cybersecurity awareness, communications, or learning & development.
-Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and frameworks (NIST, ISO, SOx, NIS2).
-Experience working with LMS platforms (SuccessFactors, Workday Learning, Cornerstone, etc.).
-Excellent communication skills in English and French.
-Creative, collaborative, and able to make technical content accessible and engaging.
-Certifications (an asset): SANS SSAP, CompTIA Security+, Prosci Change Management.
-Experience in large or global enterprise environments (asset).
