About this role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Security Analyst to support our security operations, incident response, and threat detection efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing security alerts, identifying potential threats, and providing recommendations for technology enhancements. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest level of security for our organization.
What you’ll do
Support security operations, including monitoring and responding to security incidents.Participate in incident investigations and contribute to threat detection activities.Assist in maintaining, configuring, and troubleshooting security technologies and tools.Collaborate with internal teams to improve security procedures, policies, and best practices.Analyze security alerts and events to identify potential vulnerabilities or threats.Contribute to the development and maintenance of security documentation, including policies and incident reports.Provide recommendations for enhancements to security tools and infrastructure.Participate in security awareness and training programs across the organization.Who you are
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Typically 4+ years of relevant work experience, with at least 1+ years in a similar role.Proven experience in security operations and incident response.Proficiency in security technologies and tools, such as SIEM platforms, endpoint protection, and network security devices.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.A continuous learner who stays updated with the latest security trends, threat intelligence, and industry best practices.Advanced English LevelOther Qualifications:
An advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus.Professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or similar are highly desirable.Technical Skills (Preferred):
Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, ELK Stack).Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and packet analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark).Familiarity with threat detection frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain).Basic scripting knowledge (Python, PowerShell) for automation and analysis.Understanding of vulnerability management and patching processes.Joining DXC connects you to brilliant people who embrace change and seize opportunities to advance their careers and amplify customer success.
