Kforce has a fast-growing client that is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant to join their dynamic reporting team. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional with a strong command of US GAAP and a passion for producing accurate, high-quality financial statements and disclosures. Duties: * Lead the preparation of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements, including related disclosures (footnotes, MD&A, etc.) * Prepare standalone annual financial statements for broker-dealer entities within the organization * Create monthly cash flow statements and ensure their accuracy and timeliness * Collaborate with teams across the business to gather data and ensure completeness and accuracy of financial disclosures * Support external audit processes by providing documentation and explanations as needed * Conduct technical accounting research on new standards and complex transactions * Contribute to maintaining and enhancing internal controls over financial reporting * Play a key role in ongoing process improvement efforts, especially involving reporting tools and systems
