Join our outstanding team and help shape the future of energy. **Position Specific Description** We are seeking an exceptional Senior Scrum Master to lead our enterprise agile transformation and coach multiple high-performing teams across complex technology initiatives. This senior-level role requires a proven track record of scaling agile practices, driving organizational change, and mentoring other Scrum Masters while delivering breakthrough results in fast-paced, mission-critical environments. Key Responsibilities **Enterprise Agile Leadership:** + Lead agile transformation initiatives across multiple business units and technology portfolios + Design and implement scaled agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, or Nexus) for large-scale program delivery + Establish agile governance models, metrics, and continuous improvement processes at the enterprise level + Coach executive leadership on agile mindset, practices, and organizational design principles + Drive cultural transformation initiatives that embed agile values and principles throughout the organization **Advanced Scrum Mastery:** + Facilitate multiple high-stakes Scrum teams working on complex, interdependent technology projects + Master advanced facilitation techniques for large group dynamics, conflict resolution, and consensus building + Implement sophisticated impediment resolution strategies across organizational boundaries + Design and execute complex retrospective formats that drive meaningful organizational change + Coach Product Owners on advanced product management techniques and stakeholder alignment **Team Performance Optimization:** + Analyze team dynamics, performance metrics, and delivery patterns to identify optimization opportunities + Implement advanced coaching techniques to accelerate team maturation and self-organization + Design custom agile processes tailored to specific team contexts and organizational constraints + Lead high-performing teams through complex technical challenges and organizational changes + Establish predictable delivery cadences while maintaining quality and innovation standards **Scrum Master Development & Mentoring:** + Lead a community of practice for Scrum Masters and agile coaches across the organization + Develop and deliver advanced training programs on agile practices, facilitation, and coaching skills + Mentor junior and mid-level Scrum Masters through complex situations and career development + Create standardized playbooks, tools, and resources for scaling agile practices + Establish certification pathways and competency models for agile practitioners **Strategic Program Delivery:** + Partner with senior leadership to align agile delivery with strategic business objectives + Facilitate program-level planning, coordination, and risk management across multiple teams + Drive cross-functional collaboration between technology, business, and operational teams + Implement advanced metrics and reporting frameworks for executive visibility and decision-making + Lead crisis management and rapid response initiatives using agile principles **Advanced Facilitation & Coaching:** + Expert facilitator capable of managing complex group dynamics and difficult conversations + Advanced coaching skills including systemic coaching, team coaching, and executive coaching + Ability to design and facilitate large-scale workshops, retrospectives, and planning sessions + Skilled in conflict resolution, negotiation, and consensus building across diverse stakeholder groups **Organizational Intelligence:** + Deep understanding of organizational design, culture, and change management principles + Ability to navigate complex political environments and influence without authority + Strategic thinking with ability to connect tactical delivery to business outcomes + Systems thinking approach to identifying and addressing root cause impediments **Metrics & Continuous Improvement:** + Advanced analytics skills for team performance measurement and predictive modeling + Expertise in designing meaningful metrics that drive behavioral change + Experience with agile portfolio management and value stream optimization + Ability to establish feedback loops and continuous improvement processes at scale **Technical Knowledge** + Expert understanding of Scrum, Kanban, XP, and other agile methodologies + Experience with scaled agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus, Spotify Model) + Proficiency with agile tooling (Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, etc.) and advanced configuration + Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development practices + Knowledge of product management frameworks and lean startup principles **Preferred Qualifications** + Advanced agile coaching certifications (ICP-ACC, CTC, or similar) + Experience in utilities, energy, or highly regulated industries + Technical background with understanding of software development lifecycle and DevOps practices + Change management certification or demonstrated expertise in organizational transformation + Experience with agile scaling frameworks and large program management + Public speaking experience and thought leadership in agile communities **Job Overview** This job provides leadership and direction to an Agile team, serves as an expert in the Scrum process, and enforces Scrum rules and framework.
