The PositionThis Opportunity
Support drug discovery and early development by applying DMPK/PD and modeling & simulation concepts, starting from lead identification, through the clinical phase.
Be the responsible DMPK/PD representative on multi-functional expert teams, contributing to the evaluation of new chemical entities (NCEs).
Identify and address key DMPK liabilities for new chemical series during the Lead Identification phase.
Design and execute eADME optimization strategies to mitigate safety risks and ensure adequate exposure in preclinical safety evaluations and clinical studies
Plan (in close collaboration with technology platform-owners), ADME, PK, and PK/PD studies, which are needed to select and characterize investigational new drugs
Integrate DMPK/PD, bioanalytical, and biotransformation data to address complex project challenges, enabling informed and timely decision-making.
Employ translational PK/PD principles, including basic modeling and simulation (e.g., PKPD, PBPK, and human dose/dose regimen prediction), to guide drug discovery and development activities.
Prepare scientific assessments of non-clinical DMPK information on development compounds suitable for internal program review and regulatory submissions
Expand scientific visibility and maintain effective interactions with internal and external collaborators
