**Job Summary:**
The Senior Scientist, Method Development develops and optimizes complex bioanalytical methods, ensuring clear documentation, effective method transfer, and technical guidance to laboratory teams and project stakeholders.
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Develop reliable extraction, chromatographic, and mass spectrometric procedures for complex bioanalytical methods
+ Document method development activities in accordance with established processes and procedures
+ Communicate project progress and technical challenges to Associate Director and Project Management
+ Present method development data at Prevalidation Committee Meetings
+ Collaborate independently with Project Management and clients to provide project updates
+ Guide wet laboratory staff through clear technical instruction and communication
+ Support analytical teams during method hand-off following successful development
**What We Are Looking For:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field with 6 years of experience, Master’s degree with 2–3 years of experience, or PhD (postdoctoral experience preferred)
+ Extensive experience with LC/MS and biologic sample preparation
+ Advanced understanding of chemistry principles applied to bioanalytical method development
+ Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
**The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role:**
+ Advanced knowledge of LC/MS theory and biologic sample preparation techniques
+ Experience with high‑resolution mass spectrometry platforms, including Thermo Orbitrap or Exploris systems
+ Familiarity with triple quadrupole mass spectrometers such as Sciex 6500 or 6500+ Knowledge of regulated bioanalysis, method development workflows, proteomics sample preparation, and automation
+ Strong ability to prepare and deliver well‑organized scientific presentations

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $58,800.00 - $122,500.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
