If you want to discover a career with greater purpose, join us as we transform and accelerate research and development.Job Summary:The Senior Scientist, Method Development develops and optimizes complex bioanalytical methods, ensuring clear documentation, effective method transfer, and technical guidance to laboratory teams and project stakeholders.What You'll Be Doing:Develop reliable extraction, chromatographic, and mass spectrometric procedures for complex bioanalytical methodsDocument method development activities in accordance with established processes and proceduresCommunicate project progress and technical challenges to Associate Director and Project ManagementPresent method development data at Prevalidation Committee MeetingsCollaborate independently with Project Management and clients to provide project updatesGuide wet laboratory staff through clear technical instruction and communicationSupport analytical teams during method hand-off following successful developmentWhat We Are Looking For:Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field with 6 years of experience, Master’s degree with 2–3 years of experience, or PhD (postdoctoral experience preferred)Extensive experience with LC/MS and biologic sample preparationAdvanced understanding of chemistry principles applied to bioanalytical method developmentOther Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degreeThe Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role:Advanced knowledge of LC/MS theory and biologic sample preparation techniquesExperience with high‑resolution mass spectrometry platforms, including Thermo Orbitrap or Exploris systemsFamiliarity with triple quadrupole mass spectrometers such as Sciex 6500 or 6500+Knowledge of regulated bioanalysis, method development workflows, proteomics sample preparation, and automationStrong ability to prepare and deliver well‑organized scientific presentationsWhat We Offer You:We put our employees at the center of everything we do and are committed to providing them, and their families, with benefits that meet their diverse and changing needs. The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $58,800.00 - $122,500.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
