Senior Scheduler – JLL

What this job involves:

As a Senior Scheduler, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing complex project schedules across multiple departments and stakeholders, with projects involving both new build and renovation projects. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while having good knowledge of construction techniques/technology and real estate markets. You will collaborate with stakeholders to establish and track project budgets while working with project managers, team leads, and stakeholders to gather and analyze schedule-related information and identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and resource allocation issues.

What your day-to-day will look like:Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and track project budgetsWork with stakeholders to develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using advanced scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project)Collaborate with project managers, team leads, and stakeholders to gather and analyze schedule-related informationIdentify and resolve scheduling conflicts and resource allocation issuesPerform critical path analysis and risk assessments to ensure project timelines are realistic and achievableGenerate and distribute regular schedule updates and progress reports to key stakeholdersConduct schedule impact analyses for proposed changes and develop mitigation strategiesMentor and guide junior schedulers, fostering their professional developmentImplement and maintain scheduling best practices and standards across the organizationParticipate in project meetings and provide expert scheduling insights and recommendationsIdentify and analyze potential risks that may impact project deliverables, timelines, or budgetsResearch local, national and internal delivery times and develop risk mitigation strategiesRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field7+ years of experience in project schedulingAdvanced proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft ProjectStrong understanding of project management methodologies and best practicesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsOutstanding communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExpert-level knowledge of scheduling techniques and critical path method (CPM)Proficiency in data analysis and reportingStrong attention to detail and ability to manage complex informationExcellent organizational and time management skillsAdaptability to changing project requirements and deadlinesPreferred Qualifications:PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) certification or equivalentExperience with both new build and renovation projectsKnowledge of construction techniques/technology and real estate marketsExperience mentoring and developing junior team membersUnderstanding of budget establishment and tracking processesExperience with schedule impact analysis and change managementKnowledge of risk assessment methodologies and mitigation strategiesExperience implementing scheduling best practices and standards across organizationsAdvanced skills in data analysis and reporting for executive stakeholdersLocation:

Estimated compensation for this position:

100,000.00 – 140,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
