**Job Family:** Project & Structured Finance Debt - Americas **Req ID:** 484843 **Senior SBA Loan Specialist** This role will play a key part in the successful launch and ongoing operation of Siemens Small Business Lending, Siemens’ newest tool in helping support Siemens support its SME customers. This role will be instrumental in ensuring seamless and efficient processes and will help design and develop a new digital interface for SSBL. In addition, the Senior SBA Loan Specialist will be responsible for ensuring SBA compliance with loans post-consumer acceptance. The Senior SBA Loan Specialist is a crucial role responsible for all due diligence related to the accuracy and completeness of new or modified SBA loans, from post-customer acceptance through to booking and funding. This individual will work closely with other members of the SBA group and 3 rd party LSP’s to ensure all required due diligence and SBA guidelines are met. You'll stay knowledgeable of all SBA changes and processes and collaborate with leadership to develop comprehensive SBA process and procedure materials . You'll also be a go-to resource for educating our field teams on these critical updates. In addition, this role will be instrumental in working with other members of the team as we start this new business with a focus of bringing in best practices to create a fully digital, end-to-end process which follows from loan sourcing through portfolio management. **Transform the every day with us!** **Essential Functions:** + Identifybusiness entity types and collect the corresponding legal documentationrequired for state or county filing. + Utilizethe loan workflow and specific tasks within the Loan Origination System,identifying best practices and proactively suggesting enhancements tooptimize the technological interface for the new startup SBA program. + Order,review, and analyze all required third-party vendor documents in relationto the collateral to be held on the loan. + Completeall due diligence associated with the satisfaction of loan approvalconditions, as well as customer identification requirements, in a timelymanner. + Verifythat loans have been approved by the appropriate level of authority, includingapproval from SBA, FSA, etc., as appropriate. + Serveas a point of contact between the lender, underwriter, customer, attorneyand/or title company, and the SBA as needed. + Ensureall required due diligence and approval documentation has been indexedaccurately into our system of record. + Executea post-closing examination of loan documents for accuracy and completenessand perform upload of documents to the system of record. + Sendloan-specific information to Loan Servicing for core system input andmaintenance. + Ensureproper loan entry/buildout into the Loan Origination System (LOS) SBAModule, with a particular focus on configuring and optimizing thesystem for the unique requirements of the new startup SBA program and itstechnological integrations. + Ensureproper SBA Forms and Disclosures are completed and properly executed atthe time of application and closing. + Submitand obtain SBA Loan approval through E-Tran or SBA One for newlyoriginated SBA loans and SBA modifications as required by the Servicingand Liquidation Actions Matrix as needed. + Orderand review CAIVRS and IRS Tax Transcript verifications. + Coordinateand execute Letter of Credit documentation for Small Business portfolios. + Activelyparticipate in cross-functional teams to drive the development, testing,and implementation of new digital tools and processes for the startup SBAprogram's technological interface. + Maymentor more junior team members, sharing expertise on both established andnew program processes. + Ensurecompliance with SSBL’s policies and procedures, and Federal/Stateregulations. + Completeother duties and special projects as requested by management. **Qualifications** + Bachelor'sDegree and 10+ years of experience in Financial Industry including SBA lending + Thoroughknowledge of SBA guidelines and processes + Experiencein SBA financial programs created to address the various needs of smallbusinesses + Strongknowledge of SBA SOPs, program eligibility, credit criteria, and loanstructure requirements **About Siemens:** We are a global technology company focused on industry, infrastructure, transport, and healthcare.
