Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior SAS Data Analyst in San Antonio, TX. Essential Functions: * Analyze non-IT business problems and articulate requirements to support process improvement * Identify alternative solutions and make recommendations to improve underwriting decisions * Prepare documentation based on analysis to articulate recommendations and supporting rationale * Create frameworks for assessing financial impacts of new credit strategy changes and evaluating prior changes * Document technical requirements of proposed changes to share with technical stakeholders * Analyze credit performance, requiring strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to extract and manipulate data to evaluate business decisions * Will support the data team specifically to help with data requirements and data validations for credit risk Specific Job Responsibilities: * Evaluate current and potential financial outcomes of credit underwriting practices * Assess financial impacts of business decisions * Conduct ad-hoc analysis Daily Duties Using Technology Tools: * Extracting data from databases * Validating and manipulating data to prepare for analysis * Analyzing data to answer business questions * Preparing presentations to share with stakeholders to obtain buy-in on recommended changes
