Senior Salesforce Developer

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer with prior experience at HHS/FDA to design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions on the Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on developer with a strong understanding of both declarative and programmatic capabilities of Salesforce, capable of translating business requirements into effective technical solutions. This role is essential for the successful implementation and maintenance of our Salesforce applications. **Responsibilities** Development & Implementation: + Develop, test, and deploy custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and other Salesforce technologies. + Implement declarative features such as flows, process builder, custom objects, and validation rules to meet business requirements. + Write and maintain unit test classes to ensure code coverage and quality. + Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. Collaboration & Support: + Collaborate with Salesforce Architects, Administrators, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. + Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment. + Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing Salesforce applications, including troubleshooting and bug fixing. Data & Integration: + Integrate Salesforce with other internal and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and other integration tools. + Assist with data migration and data quality initiatives. + Write SOQL and SOSL queries to interact with Salesforce data. Best Practices & Optimization: + Adhere to established development best practices, including version control, continuous integration, and continuous deployment (CI/CD). + Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce releases, features, and platform capabilities. + Identify opportunities for performance optimization and process improvements within the Salesforce environment. **Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. + 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer, with a focus on custom development. + Proficiency in Salesforce development technologies, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and SOSL. + Experience with declarative configuration (Flows, Process Builder, etc.). + Familiarity with systems integration concepts and APIs. + Experience with development lifecycle and deployment methodologies (e.g., CI/CD, change sets). + Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. + Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is a significant plus. + Experience with HHS/FDA is a huge plus. + Must be a US citizen and/or green card holder and be able to obtain public trust clearance. **Desired Qualifications:** + Salesforce Platform Developer II or other Salesforce certifications. + Experience with specific Salesforce clouds (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud). + Experience working in an Agile development environment. + Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web development technologies. **Job ID** 2025-18926 **Work Type** Remote **Pay Range** $150,000 to $165,000 **Benefits** Regular - The company offers a comprehensive benefits program, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) and a range of other voluntary benefits.
