Video Security & Access Control (VS&AC) IT Team is looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer to execute IT priorities related to the adoption and development of Lead to Cash, subscription life cycle and customer support services through Salesforce CRM, Salesforce Revenue Cloud (CPQ), Salesforce Experience Cloud and SAP. In this role, you will work with our IT team and business partners to identify and develop technical solutions to help grow, scale and improve Motorola’s business operations and efficiency related to Salesforce CPQ and subscription management. You will collaborate within IT and business stakeholders to align on what can be delivered, how and by when. You will rally with your peers around operational efficiency and customer value. You will regularly assess our ability to fulfill commitments, find opportunities and address risks. You must be prepared to manage continuously evolving priorities to make sure the team delivers high value, in line with mutually agreed parameters.
Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:
Develop solutions within the Salesforce platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, business requirements and company goals.
Participate in design phases for a variety of platform enhancements from small tickets to medium to large scale projects/programs including identifying, tracking and resolving technical issues.
Responsible for design/code reviews to help promote consistent quality coding practices and standards, as well as constructively improve secure coding.
Consult with Application Owners, Product Owners and Digital Partners to enable Digital Experience Solutions leveraging Motorola Solutions’ CRM and e-Commerce (Salesforce Experience Cloud) Capabilities.
Pilot and implement new CRM and e-Commerce functionality.
Provide technical support of CRM and e-Commerce technology, especially during upgrades/fixes. This could include occasional after-hours support, especially during major system upgrades or possibly quarter-end or year-end periods.
Provide hands-on expertise for system integration between Salesforce, SAP, Partner Portal (Salesforce Experience Cloud) and other business applications.
Provide system administration support of our Salesforce environment, especially related to customized applications, user permissions, security settings, custom objects and workflow.
Create and maintain technical documentation related to deployed solutions and important support processes. Maintain detailed system configuration and architectural documentation on an ongoing basis. Documentation updates are required as part of any material change to the environment.
Facilitate transition of applications from development to production.
Effectively communicate and build rapport with team members, stakeholders and business partners from initiation to close. Resolve conflicts/issues of medium complexity and escalate to others as appropriate.
Actively participate in agile ceremonies (scrum, refinement, etc.) and other project status meetings as appropriate.
Ensure assigned tasks are completed on time to support project deliverables. There may be additional, related duties as assigned.
Basic Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
5+ years of Salesforce Development experience (Apex & VisualForce)
Hands-on experience with Apex classes, Asynchronous Apex, Controllers, Triggers, Visualforce pages, SOQL & SOSL, Web Services (SOAP and REST), Apex Callouts, Unit test classes, Salesforce Security model and Lightning Components.
Experience with different deployment techniques such as change sets, ant, Jenkins
Hands-on experience with Salesforce Automation tools such as Process Builder, Flow, Approval Processes and change sets.
Proven ability to create high-quality and detailed documentation.
Certifications - Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, Salesforce Certified Admin, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Salesforce CPQ Experience
Salesforce Experience Cloud
Experience with HTML, JQuery, AJAX, JSON and CSS
Experience developing customer-facing user interfaces
Salesforce Certified Developer II certification will be an added advantage
The person we are looking for will be closely cooperating with the teams located in other regions including US and that's why the willingness to work in the evening shift ( 5PM-1AM IST) is a must have.
