The Senior Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth, building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, and promoting our diagnostic products and solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of the diagnostics market, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

This position reports to the Sales Manager, UK as part of the UK sales team and is a remote role covering the West Midlands and North West of the UK.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory. By retaining Base Business customers and displacing competitors in his/her territory

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, laboratory managers, and purchasing departments

Present and promote diagnostic products and solutions to potential and existing customers through in-person meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations

Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base, especially by expanding menu and introducing new products

Collaborate with the solution design teams to develop effective sales strategies and value proposition to customers

Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and other events to represent the company and network with potential clients

The essential requirements of the job include:

Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Medical Technology, Business, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.

Experienced and proven track record of successful sales in the diagnostics or medical devices industry.

Strong understanding of diagnostic products, laboratory workflows and the UK healthcare market.

Experience or knowledge in tender management with the openness to learn and work on complex tenders.

Travel and Driving Requirements:

Ability to travel up to 80% of the time predominantly within territory but also within the UK and abroad as required, including overnight stays.

Must have a valid UK driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Experience and success of complex selling to NHS Pathology networks.

Confident in selling to C-suite
