As a Senior Sales Manager shall be responsible for developing and implementing the growth strategy on New Units Projects, working across the organization, leading both the short and long-term planning and execution of business strategy.
As a Senior Sales Manager – Equipment and Projects, you will be responsible for:
Draw out a Product wise blueprint for the key Account allocated. Track macro dynamics & real-time understanding of the market environment & provide feedback to enable the right pricing and optimum terms for efficient deal closures.Deeper understanding on Customer Org & nodal agencies.Be a voice of change at the Country level with respect to relevant Policies/ pricing issues etc, lead advocacy efforts through Govt/ Non Govt. interface, influence policy/ decision makers by actively engaging with them. Keep engaged & support Sales, even once the deal gets into firm RFQSupport pre-selections & drive Project pursuit, driving Strategy & value propositionEnsure appropriate sales coverage, opportunity evaluation, risk analysis, etc. to maximum opportunity to achieve the Orders & Margin.Work collaboratively with Sales, Commercial, Application Engineers & Functions to develop and execute account strategies in pursuit of top & bottom line growthDevelop strategic customer relationships with key decision makers in support of sales teams account strategies. Demonstrate depth of knowledge with respect to customer needs to pull through associated offerings in the same account.Prioritize the studies and analysis for customers to improve equipment performance and costs of operation, driving a consultative strategy.Drive pricing and commercial strategies to maximize margin.Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and/or MBA from an accredited institution.Minimum of 12-15 years’ experience in Turbomachinery Project SalesStrong negotiation skillsAbility to provide technical direction & articulate the value proposition with the customersAbility to work with cross-functional teams, to interact at all levels of the organizationHigh energy, assertiveness, and self -motivated individual to work in a fast-paced environment with limited directionAdaptable and open to change in response to unexpected circumstances and or in working in ambiguous situationsPrior experience with customer specifications review, proposal development, and contract development and negotiations is preferredKnowledge of the application and requisition processStrong oral and written communication skills ·Strong interpersonal & Leadership skillsWork in a way that works for you
