Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sales Manager to lead institutional sales initiatives in the automotive segment. The role focuses on driving business growth, expanding new customer acquisition, strengthening existing client relationships, and leading a high-performance sales team to achieve strategic objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Sales Leadership:

Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for institutional automotive clients. Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve revenue and growth targets. Drive a performance-oriented culture within the team.

2. Business Growth & Revenue Expansion:

Increase revenue from existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling. Identify and develop new business opportunities across India. Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies to meet targets.

3. Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers. Conduct regular client interactions to understand business needs. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

4. Customer Retention & Re-engagement:

Identify inactive or lost accounts and design targeted reactivation strategies. Implement initiatives to win back lapsed customers.

5. Sales Team Management:

Guide and mentor sales representatives to achieve individual and team goals. Conduct regular training sessions to enhance product and sales capabilities. Track KPIs and performance metrics.

6. Performance Reporting & Analysis:

Analyze sales data, forecasts, and market trends. Present sales reports and strategic insights to senior management.

7. Cross-Functional Coordination:

Collaborate with marketing, product development, finance, and operations teams. Ensure smooth order execution and supply chain coordination.

8. Market Research & Business Development:

Conduct market analysis to identify trends and competitive landscape. Develop strategic partnerships and expand institutional presence in the automotive sector.

 

Desired Candidate Profile:

Education: BE – Mechanical (MBA preferred) Experience: Minimum 12 years of total experience, including 3–4 years in automotive B2B/industrial sales. Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Experience in selling complex engineering or industrial systems. Strong network within the automotive industry. Excellent leadership, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong analytical and forecasting capabilities. Willingness to travel across India.
