The Senior Sales Manager, Fiber Fortification is responsible for the sales of the fiber fortification product line across the USA and Canada. The Senior Sales Manager will lead a sales team of one account manager charged with developing and leveraging customer relationships to maximize sales, with a solutions-based approach. The Senior Sales Manager will lead the team and collaborate with the global Product Line Management unit to implement the product line strategy. As a member of the Go-to-Market team, the Senior Sales Manager will also lead the team to optimize profitability and the sales of Ingredion’s specialty products across the Texture & Healthful product portfolio.
Core Responsibilities:
Management and development of sales team for the Fiber/Healthful Solutions unitMeet or exceed region’s revenue, profitability and growth targets for core and specialty volumes, through solution selling approachPartner with Healthful Solutions Director and the Global Product Line Management team for Fiber Fortification for executing the strategy and meeting the business goals in support of the overall T&HS US/Canada sales planWork with the Healthful Solutions Director in establishing robust people development and succession plans within the team. Play an instrumental role in hiring talented sales representatives (as required).Utilize Salesforce for account planning, opportunity development, customer experience, documentation, etc. Review with sales team regularly to ensure team is fully utilizing Salesforce to fullest potential and information is accurately captured and is aligned with business strategyDevelop strong multi-level relationships between Ingredion and our important customers to drive growth and effectively address challenges that may ariseEvaluate profitability of various options during pricing/volume negotiations to optimize Ingredion’s position based on solid understanding of T&HS business and ingredient marketDevelop and meet targets for Continuous Improvement, Sustainability, Customer Experience and other initiatives for specified areaWork collaboratively with other managers and directors within the T&HS US/CAN team as well as other sales teams within Ingredion on topics of shared interest, such as shared accounts or targeted markets.Work with Technical Service, Marketing, Growth Platforms and other key stake holders to assist sales team in developing and closing new opportunities.Qualified candidates will have:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food Science or a related discipline with a minimum 10 years of Sales experience - preferably in the Food ingredient industry. Recognized and respected by major food/beverage customers. Proven experience handling major negotiations with key customers.Strong leadership and managerial skills. Demonstrated ability to develop talent within team.Excellent business analytical skills and solid financial acumen.Solid track record of delivering strong results year over year.Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills. $141,360.00-$188,480.00 AnnualThis pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).
Incentive Compensation:
As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
