Senior Sales Executive (Energy-as-a-Service)
Job Description A mid-size Financial Services company is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive for a hunting-focused Strategic Channel Sales role. This critical role emphasizes pipeline creation, deal origination, and deal closure through strategic channel relationships with renewable energy and energy efficiency developers serving Fortune 500 and institutional clients across commercial, industrial, and healthcare sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financeparticularly in lending, commercial credit, and structuring energy-as-a-service dealsand a proven ability to prospect new accounts, build relationships from scratch, and drive repeat business. This is not a role for someone looking to inherit a book of business; instead, it requires a self-starter who thrives in execution-heavy environments, leverages their professional network, and can identify and close 35 new clients per year. Experience in sustainability, energy, solar, or battery storage is highly valued. This is a base-plus-commission role with uncapped commission and accelerators for hitting quota. This is a REMOTE role with 30% expected travel within North America as needed. Skills and Requirements Over 15 years of experience driving channel partnerships, business development, and strategic alliances within sectors such as clean energy, energy efficiency, and project-based finance. Strong track record of cultivating and leveraging relationships with both national and regional developers focused on large-scale commercial, industrial, and institutional clients, including Fortune 500 companies. Demonstrated ability to consistently originate and close sophisticated financial transactions involving structured capital solutions. Highly skilled in CRM systems like Salesforce, with a data-driven approach to managing pipelines and forecasting performance. Adept at navigating internal workflows and collaborating across departments to accelerate deal cycles and ensure seamless execution. Experience building strategic partnerships with enterprise-level procurement, sustainability, or corporate real estate teams, particularly within large, multinational organizations. Working knowledge of smart building systems and advanced platforms for energy data analysis and performance optimization.
