About the Role

 

Join a leading global MNC specializing in precision cooling and climate control solutions as a Senior Sales Engineer. This role is ideal for a dynamic professional with expertise in pre-sales, sales, and application engineering within the HVAC industry. You will play a critical role in driving business growth, managing client relationships, and ensuring seamless project execution.

  Key Responsibilities

 

Sales & Pre-Sales Activities

Manage pre-sales and sales activities, including preparing and submitting tender documents with technical and commercial data sheets for HVAC products.

Assist in tendering processes, negotiations, and finalizations to secure business opportunities.

Conduct PR activities to enhance brand visibility and product awareness in the market.

Client & Project Management

Address sales, project, and service-related issues to ensure client satisfaction.

Visit client sites as needed to provide application engineering support or project execution assistance.

Ensure timely collection of payments from clients while maintaining strong relationships.

Coordination & Documentation

Coordinate with the factory for order placement, documentation, and dispatches.

Prepare MIS reports as required by management and suggest improvements for operational efficiency.

Technical Expertise & Application Engineering

Work on detailed engineering projects, including new product development, existing product upgrades, and performance data updates.

Handle design tasks such as creating submittals, drawings, indents, project planning, pre-sales application engineering, and overall planning & design work.

Additional Responsibilities

Support project execution by providing technical expertise and ensuring compliance with client requirements.

Undertake other responsibilities assigned by management within your area of expertise.

  Qualifications & Skills

 

Education:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Experience:

Minimum 7 years of experience in sales and application engineering within the HVAC industry.

Technical Expertise:

Strong knowledge of tendering processes, technical submittals, and application engineering for HVAC systems (PAC/AHU/Chillers).

Proficiency in preparing technical data sheets and handling project documentation.

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage client relationships effectively.

Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on achieving results.

Other Requirements:

Willingness to travel for site visits or client meetings as required.
