Senior Sales Engineer
My client is a highly renowned industrial distributor that specializes in supplying pneumatic products such as valves and actuators to their clients in the petrochemical and marine & offshore industry. They are one of the leading distributors for pneumatic system components in the region, and has a very established presence in Singapore, having more than 40-years of history.
We are currently on the lookout for a Senior Sales Engineer who has strong sales experience managing valves and actuators. This role will be a predominantly outdoor hunting role, and as such the ideal candidate should be experienced in developing new businesses and generating new leads.
Responsibilities:

Generate and qualify new leads and subsequently contact and arrange for an appointment (via phone calls, LinkedIn, emails) to meet them in person for an introduction and/or sales presentation.
?
Maintain a high degree of technical knowledge for pneumatics product line to effectively engage in business discussions with clients across industries, and identify potential solutions to client’s engineering concerns.
?
Foster strong relationship with clients and establish yourself as a trusted consultant who provides regular updates on company’s new products and providing innovative solutions to their existing constraints.
?
Provide after-sales support and identify customer enquiries and concerns and referring over to aftersales engineering team to address issues.
?
Prepare the documentation for costings, tenders, proposals, and quotations to existing and new clients.
Requirements:
?
3-years of technical experience managing pneumatic components (mainly valves and actuators)
?
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering
?
Strong communication and negotiation skills
?
Comfortable to build new businesses and meet new clients
?
Possessing of own vehicle will be an advantage
