Principal Responsibilities
In this role you will
Work in close partnership with Commercial Banking Coverage and the local, regional and Global Payments Solutions (GPS) teams to identify and develop business opportunities both in Hong Kong SAR, Greater China and further afieldBe responsible for developing client account plans for high-growth names and build sustainable pipelines to grow fee and deposit balance, in both the short and long term., and deliver the financial and non-financial target assignedAdopt a needs-based advisory approach to understand customer requirements and share appropriate cash management solutions that meet those requirements; Explore end-to-end journeys and user experience as clients embed payments inti their clients’ user journeysBe a senior peer in the Sales team, sharing current and expected future market trends; industry and customer insight, and how to embed payments into multinationals’ business modelsDrive the GPS business growth for the responsible Commercial Banking Sectors and replicate the sector-driven GPS solutions to specific sector use case for improving the sector penetrationFeedback to the Global Payments Solutions Product and Digital teams on the competitive market landscape and client specific requirements, to help drive product enhancements and developments as appropriateBe creative in driving and supporting sales initiatives cross-products, and with Associations, ecosystem partners, etc to grow new business in target industries; Formulate, support, and drive Commercial Banking GPS strategies; Be willing to participate in events and speaker engagements, and author articles which raise your individual and the GPS profileWork closely with the GPS Implementation, Integration and Client Service teams to ensure smooth transition of client mandate into realised revenues, as well as to provide ongoing coverage in response to clients’ evolving challenges
