Job Description/ Position Description:

The SAP S/4HANA MM/IM/ML Lead is responsible for managing and supporting all processes related to Materials Management (MM), Inventory Management (IM), and Material Ledger (ML) within the SAP S/4HANA landscape.
This role will oversee the smooth operation of the procurement, inventory, and valuation cycles, ensuring integration with finance, warehouse, and logistics functions. The Lead will serve as a functional subject matter expert (SME), managing support activities, resolving complex issues, driving system enhancements, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and SAP best practices.
Job Role/ Your future duties and responsibilities:

Lead the *SAP S/4HANA MM/IM/ML support function* and ensure seamless day-to-day operations across global business units.
• Manage and resolve incidents, service requests, and change requests within defined SLAs.
• Oversee configuration and support of key MM/IM/ML components:
• Procurement processes (PR, PO, RFQ, release strategies, outline agreements)
• Inventory Management (goods receipt/issue, stock transfers, physical inventory)
• Material Ledger (ML) for actual costing and inventory valuation
• Invoice verification and integration with FI/CO
• Automatic account determination (OBYC) and stock valuation settings
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for integration with FI, SD, PP, PM, and WM/EWM modules.
• Support S/4HANA-specific functionalities like Business Partner, Fiori apps, and Central Procurement.
• Lead configuration and testing during support packs, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Manage vendor master data, purchasing groups, and material master consistency.
• Analyze and optimize procurement, logistics, and stock management processes.
• Liaise with business stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and implement best practices.
• Prepare and maintain functional design documents, configuration guides, and training materials.
• Provide guidance, mentoring, and training to MM/IM/ML consultants and business users.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role.

Secondary Skill: SAP Certified Application Associate – Management Accounting, SAP Group Reporting Certification (desirable).
• 8 + years of experience in SAP FI and CO modules with at least 3 years in SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting.
• Strong background in financial accounting, controlling, and consolidation processes.
• Experience in support and enhancement projects (post go-live environment).
• Hands-on experience in integration between SAP FI/CO and other SAP modules.
• Experience in working with international finance teams and multi-currency environments.

Technologies required/ Selected Skills:
Primary Skill: SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement.
Secondary Skill:

• Strong functional knowledge of procurement, inventory, valuation, and material costing.
• Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA 1709 or later environments.
• Hands-on experience in integration with FI/CO and logistics modules (SD, PP, WM/EWM).
• Exposure to *intercompany processes, stock transport orders, and subcontracting scenarios*.
• Experience managing *SAP support teams* and vendor stakeholders
