Role:
As an RPA Solutions Architect in Digital Services and Experience, you will play a strategic role in designing future-focused, scalable, and secure automation solutions across hybrid environments — both Cloud and On-Premise. You will help shape the automation architecture that supports GM’s digital transformation, enabling agility, efficiency, and innovation.
You will join the DSX Automation and Analytics hub and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact automation solutions for multiple business areas, including Loyalty, OnStar, Digital Services & Experience, Manufacturing, and Growth Businesses.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
Design and lead the architecture of scalable and secure RPA solutions across cloud and on-premise environments.Define technical standards, reusable frameworks, and governance models for automation development.Integrate RPA solutions with APIs, legacy systems, and cloud-native services.Evaluate and recommend RPA platforms and integration technologies aligned with enterprise architecture.Support CI/CD implementation and monitoring strategies for automation pipelines.Collaborate with developers and analysts to ensure technical excellence and alignment with business goals.Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical leadership across automation initiatives.

Additional Job DescriptionYour Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related field.English: FluentProven experience in RPA architecture using python, API and platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism.Strong development skills in Python, including libraries like Pandas, Selenium, BeautifulSoup, and Requests.Expertise in designing and consuming RESTful APIs, including authentication and security best practices.Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Azure DevOps).Experience with On-Premise infrastructure, including Linux/Windows servers and legacy system integration.Proficiency in GitHub and DevOps practices (CI/CD).Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.What Can Give You A Competitive Edge (Preference Qualifications)
Experience with messaging and queueing systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus).Familiarity with server administration and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).Knowledge of event-driven architecture and microservices.Certifications in RPA platforms or cloud architecture (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect).#LI-LL1
