Senior Risk Manager - Nordics

How will you make an impact in this role?

The role of a Risk Manager will be essential to business and customer decisions we make, big and small!

As a key member of our Risk Management team, you will have the power to identify, develop and implement strategies and capabilities for risk assessments.

By using our rich data and collaborating with other departments such as Compliance, Legal and Data Privacy, you will manage the Net Loss Provision by ensuring effective execution of strategies and policies for the consumer card businesses in the Nordics

This will require a good understanding drivers of the credit indicators and the implications on trends/forecast and monitoring the true experience of customers in the market, diagnosing problems and seeing opportunities for improvement and then working with partners to implement.

Our risk colleagues are spread across the world and a great opportunity to learn and deploy standard processes from other regions. You will implement risk-driven strategies to profitably grow billed business, reduce unnecessary point of sale disruptions, and improve the customer experience in close collaboration with central Risk teams that develop state of art decision science tools and risk capabilities. Given the strong business focus on digital, you’ll be working at the forefront of digital innovation to realize new strategies that drive customer acquisition and engagement.

 

It is a prerequisite to have strong local knowledge of the Nordics, (Sweden primarily,) to ensure risk strategies are tailored to regional market dynamics, regulatory environments, and customer behaviors. Understanding local credit indicators and consumer trends is essential for diagnosing issues, identifying opportunities, and implementing effective solutions for the region.

This is both an exciting and rewarding role that offers a unique opportunity to gain experience across the Credit Risk life-cycle and to interact with a wide range of business partners across all levels within the organization.

 


Minimum Qualifications

Advanced degree in business, finance, statistics, economics, mathematics or equivalent experience in a similar businessFluent proficiency in Swedish and EnglishExperience in developing strategic insights demonstrating data analyticsExperience in SQL, Python, or similarDeep understanding/experience of risk management principles

Experience in unsecured consumer lending or in the payments industry
