What the day will look like:
The role and responsibilities will include:
+ Supporting the ABS Risk Officer and team in all aspects of risk management coordination, reporting and governance within ABS.
+ Supporting ABS Risk Committee governance in line with defined Terms of Reference.
+ Supporting the ABS Risk Officer and associated risk teams to manage the consistent adoption of Aon's risk assessment process, actively analysing the relevant team's risk profile, control maturity, and analysing and reporting on insights and trends across ABS.
+ Managing delivery of timely, accurate and transparent reporting to the ABS Risk Officer to support defined forums, including the ABS Risk Committee and the Global Risk Committee.
+ Coordinating and analysing ABS Risk Appetite and associated Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) as part of the reporting suite.
+ Supporting the optimisation and/or streamlining of risk management operations, including those established by the Global Risk Centre of Excellence.
+ Supporting risk-related stakeholder engagement with aligned parties, including Internal Audit, Legal, Privacy and Compliance.
+ Coordination and tracking of internal audit remediation activity to inform ABS and IA meetings.
+ Supporting ABS Risk Officer in monitoring of horizon for the identification, reporting and management of emerging risks.
+ Supporting a proactive and transparent risk management culture within ABS.
Skills and experience that will lead to success:
+ Bachelors level qualification in risk management, business studies or related discipline.
+ Experience within a broader exposure to risk (e.g., regulatory, financial, technology, operational risk).
+ Knowledge of insurance industry is advantageous.
+ Capacity to promptly flex priorities in response to senior stakeholder requirements.
+ Excellent business English language competency.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ High quality presentation skills.
+ Committed to producing high-quality, consistent, accurate deliverables.
+ Strong organization, project management and execution skills.
+ Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaborative skills.
+ Strength in relationship building and network development across a complex organisation.
