Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Systems Engineer (SE) to support advanced mission systems focused on signals intelligence, data routing, and RF exploitation. This role demands deep technical expertise across a suite of specialized platforms including DRT, NiFi, ONEROOF, DARKQUEST, and FORNSAT, with a strong foundation in RF systems engineering. The ideal candidate will thrive in a mission-driven environment and contribute to the design, integration, and sustainment of cutting-edge intelligence capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support full lifecycle systems engineering activities—including requirements analysis, system design, integration, verification, and validation—across mission-critical platforms such as FORNSAT and ONEROOF systems.Provide cross-platform expertise in Linux and Windows environments, ensuring secure and seamless interoperability for tools including NiFi, DRT, and FORNSAT-based signal processing systemsDesign, test, and optimize RF systems, antennas, and signal paths with direct application to collection platformsApply advanced FORNSAT knowledge to enhance signal collection, geolocation, and analysis workflows, supporting national-level intelligence objectivesCollaborate with multi-disciplinary teams of software developers, analysts, and field engineers to integrate GOTS products into operational architecturesDevelop and maintain system documentation, architecture diagrams, and configuration management artifacts; support live mission operations and resolve technical issues in real time across platforms.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.Fourteen (14) years of experience as a System Engineer supporting Contracts and Programs of similar scope, type and complexity is required.Clearance Requirement - Active TS/SCI with polygraphAt Leidos, the opportunities are boundless.
