The Pricing Strategy & Revenue Analytics team supports franchisees with our revenue management systems which function is to support hotels in growing revenue. As a key member of our Pricing & Revenue Analytics team you will be part of the primary systems and revenue support for hotels with questions and training for our revenue management system, including comprehensive review and analysis of the Revenue Management Systems configuration and Total Revenue Strategy at the individual hotel level, across all brand segments, as well as delivering Training Presentations and individualized support for internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, this role will develop effective working relationships with owners, operators, and management company representatives to influence the adoption of strategic direction and Revenue Management System optimization.

Your Responsibilities
Provide consultative services and assistance to hotel owners and managers, designing and implementing revenue management, distribution and RMS strategies.Prepare analysis and support execution of Revenue Strategy for identified hotels, leveraging all available reporting such as segmentation, historical and on the books, market shopping, market demand and industry reporting.Lead ad-hoc Revenue Strategy Meetings with hotel teams to review performance, selling strategies, and market trends for identified hotels requiring guidance, providing actionable recommendations to optimize hotel performance through effective use and adoption of Choice Revenue Management Systems.Ensure all Revenue Management data and files are organized and consistently kept up to date to maintain accuracy and efficiency, and provide an accessible resource of performance review, analysis, and recap records.Audit system configurations including but not limited to Seasons, Floors & Ceilings, Special Events, Priced Room Class, Exceptions, Offsets, Rate Rounding Rules, Rooms and Rate type setup, etc.Audit user inputs and overrides.Work closely with IT support to identify and resolve system challenges and ensure action of hotel user requests.Serve as point of escalation for Revenue Analysts with internal configuration & support tickets. Provide support, training, and mentorship to Revenue Analysts.Represent the Choice RMS Team at brand convention and various hotel owners and manager conferences and meetings as needed. Conduct Revenue Management training presentations and provide an overview of the program for enrollment. Provide support with franchisee and stakeholder training webinars for Revenue Management Systems to support ongoing training and system enhancement releases.Your Experience, Skills & Competencies
Bachelor's or Master’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.Revenue Management Certification (CHRM or CRME) is required of all Choice Revenue Manager team members. Candidates who are not already certified will need to become certified within the first year of employment.Minimum 2 years’ hotel experience as a Revenue Manager, or Business or Consulting experience focused on revenue analytics.Comprehensive knowledge of pricing and Revenue Management systems, Revenue Management principles and philosophies, and industry standard metrics and practices.Experience with franchising businesses and/or hotel Management Company across multiple brands is a strong plus.Knowledge of Choice Internet sites, Property Management Systems and Revenue Management Systems, Choice distribution platforms and strategies, GDS systems is a plus.Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office applications with a high degree of demonstrated proficiency in Excel.Demonstrates key competencies to include Situational Adaptability, Drives Results and Communicates Effectively.Strong analytical skills, including the ability to evaluate data, extract actionable insights, and convert to strategic revenue opportunities.Ability to apply statistical and data analysis to business problems, and use it as the basis for making recommendations.System Expert in managing and understanding Revenue Management Systems.Ability to pro-actively design and implement revenue strategy adjustments.Experience collaborating and building strategic relationships via virtual meeting platforms – Zoom, WebEx, etc.Demonstrated success in establishing strategic partnerships with 3rd party management companies, internal, and external stakeholders.Proven skill in leveraging negotiation, influence, and change management.Prior experience as an engaged team member in a high-performance culture.Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills.Experience with Tableau, Business Objects, or similar data mining tools.Ability to influence decision-makers through the presentation of analysis.Ability to make measurable progress on multiple high priorities while also handling the day-to-day operations.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.Ability to mentor and train new hires in all aspects of Choice and revenue management systems.Ability to travel up to 10% of the timeYour Team
This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Manager, Revenue Management Systems. You will have 8 peer teammates and collaborate with cross-functional departments on a regular basis.
Your Work Location
As our Senior Revenue Manager, Revenue Management Systems, you will be a remote-based associate, working from your home office. You will be required to connect virtually with Choice team members and leadership on video via Zoom, with possible periodic travel in-person to our beautiful, state-of-the-art worldwide offices in North Bethesda, MD, Scottsdale, AZ, or St. Louis Park, MN.
Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $85,000 to $100,000 annually.
