This role is critical in ensuring accurate revenue recognition across multiple business units, with a strong focus on subscription-based revenue streams. The ideal candidate will bring public accounting experience, a deep understanding of software revenue models, and a global perspective to support our international operations. **Key Responsibilities** + Own and manage the monthly revenue close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. + Analyze and reconcile revenue accounts across multiple business units. + Ensure compliance with ASC 606 and other relevant revenue recognition standards. + Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Sales Operations, Legal, FP&A) to review contracts and assess revenue implications. + Support audits and provide documentation for revenue-related inquiries, including international statutory audits. + Assist in the implementation and optimization of revenue systems and processes. + Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, budget to actual and flux analyses. + Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal controls over revenue accounting. + Collaborate with international teams to ensure consistency in global revenue recognition practices. **Qualifications** + **Bachelor’s or Master’s degree** Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred. + CPA qualified + **3–5+ years of public accounting experience** required, ideally with a focus on revenue recognition. + Experience working in a **multi-entity or multi-business unit environment** . + Strong understanding of **subscription revenue models** , preferably in a **software/SaaS business** . + Proficiency with **NetSuite** or similar ERP systems; experience with revenue automation tools is a plus. + **International accounting experience** is highly desirable. + Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities. **What We Offer** + Opportunity to work with a collaborative and high-performing Finance team. + Exposure to complex and evolving revenue models in a global business. + Competitive compensation and benefits package. + Career growth and development opportunities. + Medical and prescription drug benefits + Health savings accounts or flexible spending accounts + Dental plans and vision benefits + Basic life and AD&D Benefits + 401k retirement plan + Short and Long-Term Disability + Paid parental leave + Open vacation policy **Job Title:** Senior Revenue Accountant **Location:** Remote with some travel (less than quarterly) **Department:** Finance **Reports To:** Director of Revenue **Employment Type:** Full-Time, exempt _The expected base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $110,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
