Join us. **Job Description** We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Resident Engineer to join our team in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our building development projects, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing large-scale construction initiatives, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. + Lead and supervise the engineering team on-site, ensuring efficient project execution and adherence to timelines + Monitor and evaluate project progress, preparing comprehensive reports for stakeholders + Conduct regular inspections of workmanship and materials to maintain quality standards + Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure project success + Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and change orders + Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively + Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards + Implement innovative solutions to overcome project challenges and improve efficiency + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline project processes and enhance overall performance + Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing **Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred + Minimum of 20 years of experience in building engineering, with a focus on managing large-scale projects + Proven track record in overseeing complex infrastructure projects in the Middle East + In-depth knowledge of UAE construction standards, regulations, and best practices + Strong understanding of infrastructure development, construction methodologies, and quality control processes + Excellent project management skills, including budget and schedule management + Advanced problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen eye for detail + Proficiency in project management software and CAD tools + Outstanding leadership and team management skills + Strong technical report writing and communication abilities + Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously + Willingness to work on-site and travel as required for project needs + Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in the UAE + Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and implement innovative solutions **Additional Information** **About AECOM** AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
