Senior Resident Engineer
Riyadh City North, Abu Dhabi
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Resident Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to oversee of the overall planning of construction activities to identify critical milestones and priorities.
What You'll Be Doing:
Oversight of the overall planning of construction activities to identify critical milestones and priorities. Assess the assignment of manpower, materials, and equipment to maximize efficiency, maintain schedules, and to meet project goals. Anticipates and resolves (in working with the contractor) on various problems such as changes in scope, and slippage of schedules. Ensures the use of sound construction practices to attain required quality control at the maximum efficiency is adopted by the contractor.Prepares periodic reports summarizing progress of construction activities for higher level management and clients.Ensures effective implementation of all Company and client policies and procedures. Serves as the primary contact with client representatives for construction related activities. Maintains strong client and community relations.What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university, complemented by professional credentials from a recognized international institution.
Minimum of 20 years of post-graduate experience in design, site supervision, and construction management.
Minimum 7 years serving as a Senior Resident Engineer on large-scale, complex infrastructure projects.
Proven expertise in international construction and contract law, contract administration, and team management.
Must possess a strong understanding of public authority processes and the ability to interpret relevant statutes, codes, ordinances, and regulations.
Demonstrated experience in preparing and evaluating technical and financial proposals, assessing constructability.
Ability to implement new technologies, and effectively resolving technical issues during construction activities.
