Where and how you can work

This is a role in the Sydney office. We go to the office twice a week, to maintain a healthy balance of hybrid work.

What you’re doing in this role

The world of work is constantly evolving, and so are we. This will give you an idea of the types of things you’ll be working on when you start, but they’ll likely evolve.

As a Senior Research Data Analyst in the Data Innovations & Analytics team, you will have the opportunity to work with internal teams having a direct impact on updating and creating new models about how technology impacts work. You will collaborate with other teams to embed them in our products and bring them to life for our clients. You will have the opportunity to work on end-to-end analytics product development: from researching, data modelling, data quality, visualisation, and insight development.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

Researching new technologies and trends in their adoption and disruption of work and industries.   Using critical problem-solving to distinguish valuable data, derive insights and solve the right problems.  Using research to update our models (Python is a must for data processing, cleaning and analysis, SQL is a good to have)  Preparing insights that wow technical and non-technical users (Show your top-notch visualization skills with Tableau)  Ensuring the data is trustworthy (we’re big on data quality and documentation)  Using Generative AI to improve data quality, research, and validation.

You’re probably a match if…

You have experience in data analysis (at least 2 years), research and problem-solving.  Proven ability in translating complex technical findings into actionable insights.  Can speak to technical and non-technical teams including Data Scientists, Product Managers, Designers, Sales, Clients. Professional fluency in English is essential.  Have strong Python skills, including writing reusable functions and scripts, debugging and troubleshooting code, and performing data cleaning, processing and analysis (e.g., with pandas and numpy).  Have basic SQL experience, comfortable with joins and subqueries.  Have a basic familiarity with data visualization principles and you’re excited to learn how to use data visualization tools like Tableau, which will include connecting data and creating basic charts. Have an interest in Generative AI and are willing to learn and experiment with how to leverage it to improve and scale our processes.  Are comfortable with ambiguity, iterating on feedback, and continuous improvement.
