Performs CAD drafting and SOPs duties in support of Engineering activities

How you'll make an impact:
• Update CAD drawings and SOPs per Engineering Change Requests (ECR) through PDM (Product Data Management) system
• Create and modify complex drawings from sketches and/or marked-up prints for initial release in collaboration with Engineering
• Convert sketches or marked-up prints into engineering drawings utilizing CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, Solidworks, Creo) in accordance with process and procedures
• Perform redline reviews and update or create drawings, as needed
• Manage, review, and update CAD files in accordance to corporate standards and policies to ensure integrity of CAD PDM (Product Data Management) modeling software
• Assess and propose recommendations to design fixtures and tools in collaboration with Engineers
• Other incidental duties (e.g. occasional photo copying or deliveries)

What you'll need (Required): Education and experience requirements
Associate's Degree or equivalent in in related field OR or CAD related program certification

4 Years years experience related experience

• Good written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills
• Good computer skills, including usage of CAD (e.g Creo, Solidworks, AutoCAD, CAD PDM) and MS Office Suite
• Experience reading, interpreting, and creating drawings
• Ability to read, comprehend, write, and speak English
• Substantial understanding of drafting principles, techniques and procedures
• Moderate ability to utilize 2-D and 3-D CAD software
• Moderate understanding of ASME Y14.5M-1994 drawing standards
• Ability to identify problems and relevant issues in straightforward and more complex situations, assessing using standard procedures
• Ability to read and understand procedures, drawings, schematics and carry out instructions
• Knowledge of and adherence to Edwards Environmental Health and Safety and Quality guidelines
• Strict attention to detail
• Must be able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams
• Ability to provide feedback in a professional, direct, and tactful manner
• Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
