Kforce's client, a leading retail services company with several major operation brands throughout the US, is searching for a Senior Reporting Accountant to work a hybrid role in Westborough, MA. This client is fast-growing and offers a strong benefits package which includes health insurance, 401K with match, flexible spending, etc. This role will work 4 days in office and 1 day remote per week. Responsibilities will include: * Prepare and review journal entries and reconcile balance sheet accounts * Analyze fluctuations in balance sheets and identify underlying causes * Lead regular meetings with internal stakeholders to discuss accounting-related updates and potential issues * Serve as a subject matter expert on accounting systems and processes * Assist with preparing financial statements * Compile audit schedules and review data prepared by finance * Review contracts for accounting implications and communicate findings * Respond to ad-hoc internal and external requests
