Job Description

The primary responsibility of the Service Parts Supply Chain (SPS) is to serve patients, clinicians and engineers who rely on healthcare equipment that works. The key purpose is to provide them with the right part when and where they need it – every time. In this role you will be part of the regional SPS team, a newly formed team responsible for customer success in the region by providing high-performance parts-delivery performance and introducing new capabilities supporting regional Service offerings.​

Your core responsibilities are:

Formulating strategic vision and direction for the regional SPS capabilities in line with regional service delivery requirement and global SPS vision, covering the scope ordering, planning, forward logistics, returns logistics in the region

Leading the deployment and integration of critical capabilities for Regional Service Parts Delivery, keeping as much as possible standardized ways of working throughout the organization

Continuous Improvement and Change Management (via Project Management/LEAN approach)

Active member of the wider Supply Chain Engineering group (e.g. sharing best practices), and dotted line connected to the SPS Global Supply Chain Architecture leader

Co-formulating improvement plans together with the Regional Service team for improving service delivery

Owning improvement funnel to drive productivity (operating costs and inventory/cash)

Deployment of new x-regional capabilities as defined in the global SPS roadmap

Supporting regional operations with expertise and ad-hoc escalation support

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following:

Minimum bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations or economics

Minimum 10 years of experience in Logistics or Supply Chain environment, preferably in a service logistics environment

Minimum 3 years project and program experience in a global environment

Proven track-record in delivering results

Strong skills in business process design

Experience with LEAN principles

Strong communication skills. Able to communicate in cross-functional and cross-cultural environment

Strong in people and supplier development

Committed on Ethics and Integrity

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
