Top-notch collaboration, communication, and documentation skills are essential. **Your role and responsibilities** We are looking for a Senior level Software Engineer who is passionate about building great user experiences to make the complex business of cloud monitoring easy. Responsibilities of the roles include: * Collaborating with cross-functional development squads, including designers and product managers, to create seamless user interactions. * Writing the code implementations of these interactions, and actively communicating progress throughout the development cycle. * Contributing to core libraries so that we don't do the same work over and over again. * Thinking through the edge cases and implications of different models of deployment and product configuration, and building a test plan for your work that includes unit, integration, and end-to-end tests. **Required technical and professional expertise** * Excellent written and verbal communication. * An ownership mentality and drive to make a great product. * Familiarity with React & Typescript. * Experience building web UIs using reactive-style component frameworks. * Proficiency in version control systems like git. * A B.S in computer science or equivalent practical experience **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Extensive experience building SPAs with Typescript/React. * Experience with micro-frontend frameworks like Piral. * Knowledge of the cloud monitoring / FinOps ecosystems, especially Kubernetes. * A provable record of high-quality work: FOSS contributions, portfolio work, etc. IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
