Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

As a Radar Signal Processing Engineer, you will take ownership of complex challenges in automotive radar systems after Start of Production (SOP). You will ensure stable system performance, support customer-specific variants, and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our radar signal processing solutions.

Your responsibilities include:

Analyzing and resolving complex Radar Signal Processing (RSP) issues in series production to ensure optimal system performance and customer complianceLeading root cause analyses and defining robust technical solutions to improve reliability and qualityEvaluating and implementing customer-specific RSP variants in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholdersAssessing and managing the impact of engineering change requests on radar signal processing functionalityCreating, maintaining, and reviewing technical documentation in accordance with internal and industry standardsActing as a technical interface between development, manufacturing, and quality teamsMentoring colleagues and sharing expertise in advanced radar signal processing topicsMonitoring technology trends and customer feedback to support future product and feature developmentDriving process improvements to increase efficiency and quality in RSP engineering workflows

Qualifications

What distinguishes you?

Education

Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a comparable field

Experience

At least 4 years of professional experience in signal processing or automotive radar developmentHands-on experience with radar signal processing is highly advantageous

Know-how

Advanced knowledge of MatlabSolid experience with 8D problem-solving methodsProgramming skills in C++Practical experience with Git, Jira, VS Code, and IBM DOORS

Languages

English: fluent (mandatory)Portuguese: preferredGerman: a plus
