We are seeking a hands-on engineer to support product validation and final-stage development. This role focuses on executing testing procedures, performing root cause analysis, and ensuring compliance with product specifications and requirements. The ideal candidate will be proficient in reading schematics, operating lab equipment, and redlining technical documentation. While not responsible for product design, this engineer plays a critical role in driving the product to completion by verifying functionality, identifying issues, and ensuring readiness for release.
Responsibilities
+ Execute testing procedures to validate product performance.
+ Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues.
+ Ensure compliance with product specifications and requirements.
+ Read and interpret schematics and technical documentation.
+ Operate lab equipment efficiently.
+ Redline and update technical documentation as needed.
+ Support product validation efforts to ensure functionality and readiness for release.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in medical device validation processes.
+ Experience with root cause analysis.
+ Ability to read and interpret schematics.
+ Competence in operating lab equipment.
+ Skill in redlining and updating technical documentation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 2-3 years of experience in the medical device industry or other regulated industries.
+ Understanding of document change orders.
+ Experience in hands-on testing and validation procedures.
Work Environment
The position is based in Santa Clara, where you will work on-site from Monday to Friday. Flexible start times are available between 7am and 9am, with an 8-hour shift. You will work at a state-of-the-art facility, contributing to the development of innovative electronic products in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $49.00 - $65.00/hr.
