Position Overview 

Boeing India Engineering and Technology Center is seeking a Senior Quintiq Software Architect for its Manufacturing & Quality Division within Information Digital Technology and Security (IDT&S). An ideal candidate will be excited for the challenge to transform and think critically on many computer science disciplines including product design, usability, building APIs, scaling applications, digital transformation, and high reliability. Candidate is encouraged to be a combination of a highly technical software engineering leader and an effective software architect. Candidate will manage and grow a talented team tasked with solving complex problems within a high-growth environment. Candidate should be effective in interaction with senior technical and functional leaders to lead change through business processes and technologies. 

Position Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will perform the following duties:

Responsible for Quintiq software solution design, implementation, delivery, and support.Understand business requirements from business consultants and convert requirements into technically feasible software solution design and evaluate their impact on business processes and KPIs!Act as the key communicator, aligning efforts between programmers, infrastructure consultants, and business consultants.Participate in optimization research projects to come up with potential improvement ideas for optimization/auto planner solutions.Write and automate comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and reliability.Develop and manage CI/CD pipeline for Quintiq solution, application and server monitoring tools. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

A Bachelor’s degree or higher is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION12+ years of experience in IT Industry10+ years of experience in developing Quintiq solutions in one or more of the Quintiq products - Scheduler, Macro planner, Company planner or Demand PlannerExperience with Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) and Detailed SchedulingExperience with object-oriented modeling (UML)Hands on experience in working on business system integration and related protocols like SOAP, REST API, SFTPKnowledge of optimization techniques in operations research and artificial intelligence (linear programming, genetic algorithms, heuristic search techniques, constraint programming, etc.) is a plus.High abstraction level and superior analytical skillsWorking knowledge of networking components (firewall, load balancers and protocols like TCP/IP)Programming languages: Hands on development experience using Quill programming, Java, C, C++, Angular JS, jQuery, Java Script, JSON, XML and SQL.Database: SQL, NoSQL, SQL Server, or OracleExpertise on GIT, Microsoft ADO, and CI/CD.Working exposure with Agile and DevOps is a must. 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

Master’s degree in applied mathematics, operations research, industrial engineering, business, supply chain management, computer science, or similar discipline.Certification: Delmia Quintiq Software Architect Level 1,2 or 3.Certification: Delmia Quintiq Software Expert Level 2 or 3
