As a leader in RDQ, you are a senior technical resource and internal expert in areas of critical importance to an organization who regularly interacts with senior management. You apply your broad technical knowledge and technical specialty to identify, define and solve complex business problems. 

How you will contribute

You will coordinate activities related to quality and food safety, provide support, advice and coaching to internal and external manufacturing plants as well as to Logistic Operations and Warehousing teams, to ensure that Mondelez's strict food safety standards, regulatory compliance and other quality-related aspects are clearly understood and not compromised.  
You will drive the 'Consumer Inspired Quality (CIQ)' agenda across the company. You will drive change management needs, if the data analysis of the Quality pillar requires it.  
In partnership with the relevant business functions, you support R&D in designing products, with critical-to-quality specifications. You will support the CQV (Commissioning-Qualification-Verification) process to ensure the delivery of quality products inspired by the consumer.  
You will manage customer and consumer complaints/requests in direct contact with customer teams and in collaboration with the Sales and CS&L (Customer Services, Logistics Operations) teams. You will respond to authority requests after alignment with the BU/CU legal, regulatory or CGA contact where needed. 

What you will bring

You have ambition, the desire to evolve, to boost your career and have the following experience and knowledge: 

Experience in quality and/or R&D 

Knowledge of quality systems (HACCP, ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000) 

Experience in microbiology or food safety or sanitation 

Strong interest in understanding / deploying quality policies 

Managing multiple tasks and setting priorities 

Communication and leadership skills of cross-functional teams. 

Problem solving mindset, collaboration and coordination skills. 

You seek to understand the needs of your counterpart and provide guidance/training for capability building 

Supportive mindset, translate technical subjects into understandable language and targeted needs 

You have follow-through and will close the communication loop 

Business acumen, influence and negotiation 

An audit qualification or equivalent experience is a decisive advantage 

Ability to work both independently and in a team with strong organizational/prioritization skills 

Change Management mindset 

Fluent in Dutch and English, Basic knowledge of French

What you need to know about this position:

The responsibilities of this position are carried out within a regional business model defined and managed by Mondelēz Europe GmbH, Switzerland.  

Your region of responsibility is Benelux. 

Education / Experience:

You have a bachelor or master degree in food- bio- or agro- science. 

You have 3-5 years experience within a quality organization where you led HACCP or Sanitation implementation/improvement.  

Travel requirements:

Your main work location will be the Benelux central office located in Mechelen, Belgium. 

You will visit internal and external manufacturing sites, located in Belgium or Netherlands, on a needs basis.
