Primary Responsibilities:

Work as an automation test engineer for Pega Center of Excellence team and own the quality of Pega applicationsExecute functional, Automation, Data base and API testing as per Project needsShould work on QE tasks leveraging code generation AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, to develop and test selenium automation scriptsDevelop Automation test scripts using different type of frameworksEnhance Automation Frameworks as per the design needsIndependently troubleshoot coding issues and solve technical problems from the rootsSetup continuous integration and continuous testing system like Jenkins, GitHub, Maven, and DockerDeliver software within an Agile (scrum) environmentAssist in sprint planning, estimation, requirement analysis and reviewCollaborate with stakeholders to plan test schedules, strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery datesCreate, maintain and execute test plans and test cases against our software platforms, estimating test efforts, analyzing and communicating test results, defect tracking and participating in day-to-day QA activities

Document processes and procedures in managing the product and making sure best practices are always followed

Required Qualifications:

7+ years of hands-on experience in developing automation test scripts using SeleniumHands on experience working on AI tools such as GitHub CopilotAbility to update or enhance automation framework as per the designGood knowledge about testing concepts and understanding of database concepts, OOPs concepts and solid in core Java skillsGood Understanding on Cucumber, GherkinAbility to take a hands-on approach to implementing QA processes right from requirements analysis, test design, automation and analysisAbility to collaborate with other teams across the portfolio to assure the success of the overall programWorking knowledge in Database and API testingUnderstanding of DevOps tools like GitHub and JenkinsUnderstanding of container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes

 

Preferred Qualification:

Understanding of Pega healthcare or related frameworks
