Job Title: Senior Quality Engineer I
Job Location: 711 Industrial Drive, Washington, MO 63090
Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours a week, Monday – Friday
Duties: Supplier corrective action request coordination. PPAP coordination. Quality issues resolution. Plant interaction. Supplier interaction. NAFTA coordination. Responsible for Customer PPAP coordination and assuring the documentation is complete and accurate. Plant Quality issues resolution using the A3 problem solving method as applicable. Teach the associates the A3 problem solving method through the PS201 training program. Participate in internal and external quality audits – including but not limited to ISO, PED, UL, CSA and customer audits. Responsible for creating point of use control plans and assuring the operators understand, and can execute any monitoring or measuring of the process or products. Position requires 10% domestic and 10% International Travel.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and eight (8) years of experience as a Quality Control Engineer, Product Engineer, or related role where experience can be gained. Also requires 8 years of experience in the following:
+ Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Control plans, how to create and maintain.
+ A3 problem solving methods and tools such as Design of Experiments, 5-whys, Fishbone, SPC – Statistical Process Control, and Using the Hierarchy of Controls;
+ Six sigma tool minitab; and
+ Able to assess process capability and to complete 8D’s for customer concerns as needed.
SALARY: $114,358 per year
