OUR TEAM
Our Munitions teams in Benalla and Mulwala produce propellants, explosives and munitions for defence and commercial uses. With ongoing investment into research and development, we produce some of the world’s most high-performing guided weapons and explosive ordnance systems. And being at the forefront of a rapidly evolving industry gives our teams constant opportunities to build on their technical expertise.

YOUR ROLE

The Senior Quality Coordinator maintains the quality system to ensure products meet customer requirements while supporting the production plan across safety, quality, cost and continuous improvement.

Lead safety compliance and promote a safe working environment.

Develop, mentor and support Quality Coordinators across all quality procedures.

Oversee product quality assurance and provide technical clarification.

Maintain and improve quality systems, including Work Instructions, SOPs and NC processes.

Manage SPC systems, gauge calibration, testing facilities and quality related equipment.

Communicate effectively across teams and provide timely reporting on quality issues.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

Certificate IV in Leadership and Management, or an equivalent qualification.    

Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, product specifications and technical drawings.

Demonstrated ability to investigate, analyse and resolve quality issues, with experience in ISO 9001 and AS 1199.

Strong communication and organisational abilities, with a collaborative, team focused approach.

Intermediate computer skills with experience in LX MRP and IPESA systems.

Manufacturing and ammunition knowledge desirable.

A Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.
