Senior Quality Assurance Analyst
Title: Senior Quality Assurance Analyst Period of Performance: Long-term, contract Location: Hybrid - 3 days onsite, Washington, DC ROLE SUMMARY: + We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to lead testing and quality assurance efforts across a variety of IT projects. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in both manual and automated testing, excellent leadership skills, and hands-on experience with enterprise applications like Maximo and Cityworks. + You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of software solutions by developing test strategies, executing test plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in both Agile and Waterfall environments and have a proven track record of delivering high-quality results. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: + Lead QA efforts for small to medium-sized IT projects. + Develop and execute test plans, use cases, and test scripts. + Perform manual and automated testing using tools like Selenium, SOAPUI, and Appium. + Conduct API testing for RESTful and SOAP web services. + Coordinate with business and IT stakeholders to ensure testing aligns with project goals. + Track and manage defects using tools such as JIRA or Rally. + Prepare QA documentation and project status reports. + Support data validation and reporting using Power BI and SQL queries. + Ensure compliance with data privacy practices and standards. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: + Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field. + 10+ years of QA experience, including leadership roles. + Strong experience with Maximo and Cityworks applications. PROFICIENCY IN: + Selenium, SOAPUI, REST/SOAP APIs + SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL + Power BI, Jenkins, GitHub + Appium, Perfecto (Mobile Testing) + JIRA, Rally + Experience with Microsoft.Net, Java, PHP/MySQL applications. + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. + Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: + Experience in the Water Utilities industry. + ISTQB or equivalent QA certification. + Familiarity with Log4j, JDBC, and continuous integration tools. + Experience with statistical reporting and data analysis.
