We’re seeking a dynamic Senior Qualifications Manager to lead the development, growth, and strategic direction of our qualifications, with an initial focus on Computer Science and Psychology GCSE and A Level. With major reforms on the horizon, this is a unique opportunity to influence the next generation of qualifications and make a lasting impact on learners, teachers, and the wider sector. **About the Role** As Senior Qualifications Manager, you will: + - Own the retention and growth plans for a number of STEM qualifications, driving innovation and continuous improvement. + - Lead on amendments and new qualification developments. + - Collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders such as the learned societies, DfE and Ofqual, representing Pearson’s subject expertise and building our profile in the sector. + - Build and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics, to ensure our qualifications inspire teachers, engage learners, and enable progression. + - Play a key role in qualification reform, contributing thought leadership and strategic insight to set us up for success in a changing landscape. **What We’re Looking For** + - Proven experience in qualification development, product management, or subject leadership within education. + - Deep subject knowledge in at least one of Computer Science, Psychology or Sciences at KS4-5, with a passion for curriculum and assessment innovation. + - Understanding of high-stakes assessment. + - Deep knowledge of the UK education market. + - Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills. + - Ability to work collaboratively, influence at all levels, and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment. + - Commitment to delivering best-in-class customer experience and supporting teachers and learners throughout the qualification lifecycle. **Why Join Us?** + - Be at the forefront of qualification reform, working with sector leaders and government bodies. + - Enjoy a supportive, collaborative team culture with opportunities for professional growth. + - Make a real difference to education outcomes and the future of your subject. **Apply now to help shape the future of Pearson qualifications.** **This vacancy will close on 22nd December.
