Senior Purchasing Coordinator
Senior Purchasing Coordinator Job Description _Hybrid- Ortigas, Pasig_ **What is the Job all about?** Join our team as a Purchasing Coordinator and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of indirect daily orders and PO management! In this position, you'll provide essential support across a range of activities, from vendor management to master data maintenance, making sure all orders placed through ARIBA are processed and delivered on time. As a specialist in indirect purchasing, you'll take end-to-end ownership within your area, contributing directly to our operational success. **Your main responsibilities:** + Provide support for team members on Indirect daily ordering activities. Driveprocess improvement initiatives and actively contribute in cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing.Supporting deployment of new processes + Representingadvanced level of process knowledge and expertise. + Support to convert Purchase request to Purchase order, coming from ARIBA, handle order confirmations + Follow up on orders, using (delivery time, partial delivery, missing materials etc) + Handle Vendor Invoice Management + Support indirect daily ordering process in general, answering for questions coming from end users/ requestors locally, especially support the MRO area + Create and maintain Framework orders, share and communicate them towards end users and suppliers in their own area + Coordinate and support training of employees within processes + Coordinate and lead work shadowing/ Roll out activities and ensure standard process splits are followed + Execute ad-hoc activities given by Team Lead or Management + The Purchasing coordinator need to be clear with all Purchasing related processes and principles in place and capable to use them, such as local DOA rules etc. + All other process related tasks and activities what are requested by the line manager **Your background:** + 2-3 years’ experience in similar role + Experience indirect and direct sourcing and/or operational procurement activities + Understanding the order flow and related procurement processes + Solid Procurement system knowledge + Systematic and quality-oriented way of working, following instructions and procedures + Ability and willingness to work in a team environment + Distinct flexibility and capacity to work under pressure regarding function and time + Sense of duty and responsibility + Proactivity in process related improvement ideas + Communicative, people oriented + Willingness to acquire new skills + Analytical mindset, writing and reporting + Understanding of the order flow and related procurement processes + Proficiency of Procurement systems (e.g. ARIBA, SAP) **What’s in it for you?** Whether it’s developing skills or advancing your expertise even further, we’ll support you with continuous learning and development opportunities, to help discuss and steer your long-term Grundfos career path.
