You will leverage your experience and knowledge to support both the sales of new business opportunities and the delivery of services to clients. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Establish Trusted Client Relationships: Develop strong, trusted relationships with clients through articulating solutions and establishing credibility in the delivery of complex services. This includes identifying new business opportunities and creatively participating in the development and sales of solutions. • Lead Sales and Delivery Efforts: Lead teams in selling projects and delivering services to clients, ensuring the financial success of engagements directly managed and generating services revenue through the sales of new business. • Participate in Sector Activities: Engage in related Sector, Solution, or Community activities to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices. • Drive Business Growth: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, assisting in winning business through effective sales strategies and solution development. • Manage Financial Performance: Oversee the financial success of engagements directly managed, ensuring the generation of services revenue through the sales of new business. **Required technical and professional expertise** • Complex Services Engagement Management: Deep expertise in managing large and complex services engagements, including understanding the methods and skills needed to solve business problems in various industries. •Public-Specific Solution Development: Deep expertise in developing and articulating solutions that address specific industry needs, leveraging knowledge of IBM services and offerings. • Trusted Advisor Sales Experience: Deep expertise in selling projects as a trusted advisor to clients, with a proven track record of establishing strong, trusted relationships and identifying new business opportunities. • Financial Performance Management: Deep expertise in managing the financial success of engagements, including overseeing revenue generation and ensuring the financial success of directly managed projects. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Deep expertise in collaborating with various stakeholders, including sector, solution, and community teams, to drive business growth and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices. **Preferred technical and professional experience** • Public Industry Knowledge: Deep expertise in understanding various industries, including the methods and skills needed to solve business problems, with the ability to articulate solutions and establish credibility in the delivery of complex services. • Solution Development: Deep expertise in developing and articulating solutions that address specific industry needs, leveraging knowledge of IBM services and offerings to creatively participate in the development and sales of solutions. • Cross-Sector Collaboration: Deep expertise in collaborating with various stakeholders, including sector, solution, and community teams, to drive business growth and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
