As a **Senior Proposals Engineer - Hydro** , you will lead the creation of highly competitive and strategic proposals for North America renewable energy control systems, with a primary focus in **hydroelectric power** . Emerson’s five decades of power and water expertise embedded within the Ovation™ distributed control system (DCS) forms a reliable and innovative platform that evolves with rapidly changing technology to help improve plant reliability. **In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Prepare comprehensive, accurate, and timely proposals for control system projects, including reviewing customer specifications and drawings. + Develop best‑value solutions that meet customer needs, reduce risk, and support project success. + Present project costs, risks, and differentiators clearly and confidently to key decision‑makers. + Review purchase orders to ensure alignment with the proposed scope of work. + Partner with a global network of engineers and subject‑matter experts to ensure high‑quality proposal development. + Apply foundational knowledge in engineering, automation, networking, and business to deliver thoughtful, innovative solutions. **Who You Are:** You accomplish objectives despite ambiguity and complexity.
