This role is pivotal for supporting critical strategic opportunities, offering vital thought leadership and mentorship to our junior global team members, and ensuring the effective management and upkeep of essential team tools and licenses. By bringing in this strategic hire, we aim to free up valuable leadership capacity, optimize resource allocation, improve overall proposal throughput and quality, and ultimately help drive the Global Proposal Team's effectiveness and success. This role will directly contribute to our ability to handle more proposals, increase the quality of our client responses, and reduce friction with our Sales team.

Things You’ll Do

\n\nLead the end-to-end management of complex, high-value proposals, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery.\nProvide mentorship and thought leadership to junior team members, driving skill development and improved team performance.\nOversee critical proposal tools, licenses, and vendor relationships to maintain operational efficiency and resource optimization.\nIdentify and implement process improvements to streamline workflows, enhance collaboration across global teams, and boost proposal output quality.\nCollaborate closely with senior leadership to align proposal operations with strategic goals and support the team’s long-term growth.\n\n

What We’re Looking For On Your Resume

\n\nWe focus more on capability and outcomes produced than “typical qualifications” / years of experience. This space is designed to help candidates understand what is truly most important for them to have done and answer, “Do I have what this role would need?” You may not “check all of the boxes” and that’s okay. We’re looking for a perfect person, not the perfect resume.\nProven track record of success in roles requiring meticulous attention to detail and process management, such as proposal writing, proposal management, technical writing, administrative support for complex projects, or project coordination. Demonstrate your ability to improve efficiency or maintain high standards in fast-paced environments.\nExceptional command of written and spoken English, with a demonstrated ability to craft clear, concise, and compelling narratives. You should have experience distilling complex information into easily digestible content and effectively communicating with diverse stakeholders.\nDemonstrated graphic design skills with an eye for visual consistency and impact, particularly in supporting proposal creation, executive presentations, or similar business documents.\nHands-on experience with key software platforms, including:\nProposal Management: Responsive (formerly RFPIO)\nDesign & Document Creation: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe InDesign\nProductivity Suites: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail), Coda.io\nCollaboration and Communication: Slack\n\n
