Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Project Manager (Roads) to join our team! In this role, you will provide leadership and management for medium to large-sized projects, with a specific focus on roads infrastructure. You will oversee all aspects of project delivery, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contractual obligations. This position involves managing scope development, scope management, and commercial performance of roads infrastructure projects, including design, construction, and maintenance. You will also be responsible for technical and financial oversight, client relationships, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality results. Typically, you will manage projects valued at $50 million or more in total installed cost.

What You'll Be Doing:
Leads the planning, directing, supervising, and controlling of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of assigned roads infrastructure projects.
Manages large-scale roads infrastructure projects, including highways, urban roads, intersections, and related transportation systems.
Oversees the design, construction, and maintenance phases of roads infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Forecasts monthly revenue, labor costs, ODCs, and gross profit for the term of the project.
Develops and manages project budgets, ensuring profitability and adherence to financial goals.
Oversees project invoicing and billing, including tracking accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Establishes and maintains the Project Management Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other required documents, with a focus on roads infrastructure standards.
Ensures project deliverables meet established criteria, quality standards, and client expectations.
Assigns responsibilities for executing project plans to team members, leveraging their qualifications and strengths.
Negotiates changes to the scope of work with the client and key subcontractors, particularly for roads infrastructure components such as pavement design, drainage systems, and traffic management.
Maintains strong relationships with clients, subconsultants, and subcontractors to ensure alignment and progress on roads infrastructure projects.
Identifies and pursues additional work opportunities with clients, particularly within the transportation and infrastructure sectors.
Develops career plans for project staff and identifies training needs to support professional growth.
Leads staffing plans for roads infrastructure projects and pursuits.
Manages employee performance, including recognition and feedback.
Represents Parsons at industry conferences and networking events to build relationships in the roads infrastructure sector.
Prepares abstracts and presentations for key conferences, particularly on roads infrastructure topics.
Collaborates with other team members to address project office space requirements and resource needs.
Monitors project progress, including cost, schedule, and scope, and provides regular updates to senior leadership.
Maintains current and timely change orders and other project documentation.
Promotes technical and commercial excellence on the project through the application of Quality Assurance processes.
Leads proposal development, client meetings, and presentations for roads infrastructure project pursuits.
Identifies business development opportunities and supports marketing efforts for roads infrastructure projects.
What Required Skills You'll Bring
10+ years of related work experience, including significant experience in roads infrastructure projects.
Licenses and Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) registration is required.
